How do UK restaurants sell gift cards without paper vouchers?
Issue a card with a value and a code, sell it in house or through a public page, and redeem against a live balance at the till. Paper vouchers in a shoebox cannot tell you what is still outstanding.
Can guests buy a gift card online?
Yes, if you publish a purchase page. System Hub uses the Widget module for public purchase. Redemption stays in Gift Cards so the till sees the balance.
